Following the Cairo International Book Fair concluded its 55th session, which was held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement, after lasting for 14 days, from January 24 to February 6, under the slogan “We Create Knowledge. We Preserve the Word.”

Some countries plan to host book fairs in 2024, as outlined in the following list:

The 55th edition of the Cairo Book Fair saw the participation of 1,200 Egyptian, Arab, and foreign publishers, with more than 5,000 exhibitors from 70 countries. The Kingdom of Norway was honored, and the Egyptian Egyptologist Dr. Selim Hassan was chosen as the fair’s figure, with children’s literature pioneer Yacoub El Sharouni as the child’s pavilion figure, in addition to 550 cultural events, 120 artistic events, including meetings with creators, writers, thinkers, and artists.
