Literature, Publishing, & Translation Commission has announced its support for the philosophy sector in Saudi Arabia by encouraging researchers to conduct philosophical studies in accordance with scientific publishing standards and publish them in peer-reviewed and prestigious journals within the philosophical community.

The participation mechanism relies on selecting a group of advanced researchers who meet the acceptance criteria to receive scientific and institutional support to complete these research studies.

Goals:

  1. To stimulate the production of philosophical works.
  2. To enrich the content of Arab libraries with philosophical research.
  3. To enhance the quality of philosophical works in Saudi Arabia.
  4. To support philosophical activities and develop a sustainable competitive system.

Project Timeline:

Registration Start: April 16, 2024
Registration End: May 5, 2024
Announcement of Selected Research: June 2, 2024
Start of Research Writing Phase: June 3, 2024
Publication of Research in Scholarly Journals: January 12, 2025

Registration Requirements:

  1. Applicants must fill out the application form available on the provided online link.
  2. Applicants must not have previously benefited from the program.
  3. Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
  4. The research proposal must cover a research area within the scope of the program’s research fields and must fulfill its objectives.
  5. Originality in the choice of the idea and seriousness in its execution; it should not be derived from previous research conducted by the researcher or others.
  6. The research idea must be presented in either Arabic or English, and the language of the research must match that of the research proposal.
  7. The researcher must declare that the research has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere prior to receiving the grant.
