Abdullah Naaji

The poet and novelist Abdullah Hadi Naji Naji was born in Mecca in 1974 to Yemeni parents. His literary work is deeply influenced by the cultural and spiritual environment of the holy city. Naji’s oeuvre encompasses poetry, fiction, and critical essays. He has published three poetry collections: “Ascending in Silence,” “The Tablets,” and “Houses of Vision,” as well as two novels released by Masciliani Publishing House: “The Mountain Outcast” and “The Ship’s Guardian.”

His latest work, “Beings of the Dark Room,” delves into the dynamics of the human psyche and is categorized as a “spiritual biography.” Naji is considered a prominent literary voice that bridges poetry, fiction, and philosophy.
