Khaled Jameel Mohammed

Khaled Jameel Mohammed is a Syrian writer and researcher born in the city of Al-Qamishli in 1968. He holds a degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Aleppo. He formerly worked as an Arabic language teacher in schools in Al-Qamishli and currently serves as a news editor and reporter for the Rudaw Media Network in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He has contributed research and studies in the fields of literature and linguistics in both Arabic and Kurdish languages. His notable works include the books “Risks in Speech,” “Al-Jazari: The Poet of Love and Beauty,” and “Issues in Kurdish Lexicology.” Additionally, he has translated several novels from Arabic to Kurdish, including “Hostages of Sin” by the Syrian novelist Haitham Hussein and “Aleppo Metro” by the Syrian novelist Maha Hassan.
