The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority in Saudi Arabia has launched an initiative to support content creators in enriching literary content that is readable, audible, and visible, under the supervision of specialized advisors, in support of local talents. The “Content Creators Support” initiative is an ambitious step towards enhancing capabilities and maximizing opportunities to achieve sustainable cultural development. This goal aligns closely with the strategic axes of Vision 2030 of the Kingdom, which aims to build a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.

The paths of the Content Creators Support initiative include:

  1. Qissa Platform: A platform supporting short story writers by providing innovative ways to keep pace with modern life and enhance the visibility of Saudi writers, introducing them to the general public. The platform also offers advisory support to 30 writers, assisting in the creation of 20 quality stories per creator to enrich the literary scene.
  2. Shabak Platform: A platform supporting creators of visual literary content by providing financial, advisory, and promotional support to 20 creators to produce 5 innovative multilingual videos each, to reach Saudi and international audiences.
  3. Sahabat Adab Platform: A platform supporting creators of audible literary content (podcasts) by providing financial, advisory, and promotional support to 10 creators to produce 10 episodes each, for public venues where visitors spend at least 15 minutes. Registration can be done [here](registration link).

Project Objectives:

  1. Making culture a way of life.
  2. Enhancing the value of literature in individual lives.
  3. Supporting the spread of Saudi authors locally and globally.
  4. Strengthening the role of private and third-sector institutions in advancing the cultural sector.
  5. Inspiring individuals for literary and cultural production.
